Found Footage – 60′s Bangkok – Thai Street Food

Jan 11, 2013 0 11 Views

Today’s bit of yesterday comes from “the estate sale of an Englishman.” Wish I had more to go on, the developed rolls are unmarked. Anyway – what we have here is a bit of Thai Street Food in Bangkok circa 1968. There is a great shot of a Thai gentleman making Silk Stocking Tea. Also some cool footage at the end of coconuts being chopped and served for the coconut water inside.

THE RESTORATION
This street food was part of a larger river tour film lot. EVERYBODY takes the river tour and films it. I think I have no less than 6 Bangkok river tour rolls from various estate sales and auction. This is the only one that contains any Thai Street Food. The audio (Bangkok street/river market 2009) was recorded by me and added in post.

A longer YouTube playlist of our found footage is available here.
